Connor is a local skateboarding enthusiast who was addicted to drugs for six years as a way to escape his chronic back pain after he moved out on his own at 15-years-old. His addiction was a result of complex environmental, traumatic and mental health factors. Connor has been diagnosed with schizophrenia and has survived one suicide attempt. He credits his strong support network and access to resources for being here today, and wants to help create tolerance and acceptance for drug users in the city.
